Attorney Tinney’s Legal Education & Beginnings
Eoin is a first-generation American born to Irish immigrants in Indianapolis, Indiana; he is also a first-generation attorney in his family. While growing up, he spent years in South Carolina and West Virginia but decided to head to Alabama for university.
Eoin went to the University of Alabama and double-majored in economics and finance before graduating summa cum laude from the university’s Honors College in just three years. Already set on a law degree that would let him help people in need of reliable legal counsel, he soon attended the University of Alabama School of Law. While there, he was on the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board and spent his summers either as part of a think-tank group in D.C. or as a worker at a public interest law firm in Florida.
Once he had completed his J.D., Eoin started to explore the directions he could point his legal career. Before opening his private practice, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Tamara Harris Johnson in the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court of Alabama.
