Austin attorney Randy Howry assumes the role of president of the Austin Bar Association
Austin attorney Randy Howry assumes the role of president of the Austin Bar Association, effective July 1, 2005. Randy Howry is a partner in the law firm, Howry, Breen & Herman, LLP. The Austin Bar Association includes in its membership more than 3,700 local attorneys in 21 different legal specialties. "Randy has been active in the Austin Bar for several years. His commitment to the Austin legal community, as well as to the community at large, is evident in the many programs he has initiated and participated in throughout the years," said Delaine Ward, executive director, Austin Bar Association. In addition to his many years of service to the Austin Bar Association, Mr. Howry is a Senior Founding Fellow of the Austin Bar Association Foundation. He also has been selected for membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Austin chapter of ABOTA. Mr. Howry holds Board Certifications in Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the College of the State Bar, a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a member of the Texas Center for Legal Ethics Professionalism and a member of District 9A Grievance Committee of the State Bar of Texas. He also is active in many civic and charitable organizations.
