Eoin Tinney is a trial attorney at Howry Breen & Herman, where he aggressively represents clients seriously injured from car wrecks, trucking accidents, premises-liability incidents, product defects, and other incidents. Eoin has secured great recoveries for people injured in a variety of ways, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, burn injuries and the loss of loved ones. Eoin also represents people and businesses who have suffered commercial harm.
Before joining the firm, Eoin represented personal injury plaintiffs in both commercial and non-commercial litigation, handling the case from the moment the client called to jury verdict and beyond. He has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his injured clients, including a million-dollar settlement for an injured motorcyclist. In Eoin’s first trial as lead counsel, he obtained a six-figure jury verdict in Travis County, Austin, Texas. Eoin has prosecuted cases from start to finish, conducting depositions, arguing motions at hearings, participating in jury trials, and achieving outstanding results for hundreds of clients during his legal career. Before beginning private practice, Eoin served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Tamara Harris Johnson in the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court of Alabama.
Eoin received his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, his outstanding written and oral advocacy earned him a spot on the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board. During his summers off from law school, Eoin worked for a public interest law firm in Miami, Florida, and a think tank in Washington, D.C.
Eoin also received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, where he double-majored in economics and finance, graduating summa cum laude from the university’s Honors College in only three years.
Eoin is a first-generation attorney and a first-generation American, born to Irish immigrants in Indianapolis, Indiana. He spent his early childhood in South Carolina and his adolescence in West Virginia. Outside of work, Eoin enjoys golfing, gaming, listening to music, and spending time with his friends and loved ones.
